Thanks to the lovely people at Michael Bell, we have a new office, in the centre of Lewes – a beautiful historic country town surrounded by the South Downs in Sussex. The building, called St Anne’s House, certainly has some history too. It was home to Jack Fuller’s first cousin two times removed Elizabeth Fuller (1695-1751) and her husband John Apsley (died 1770). The house was built for them in 1719, and remained the property of these families until 1803. Until quite recently, judges stayed at the house when in Lewes for the assizes. Now the building is also home to St Anne’s Gallery.
It’s only an hour from London and ten minutes by train from the centre of Brighton, so why not pop by and say hi?
